Dundee speed skating club

This event was held on 29th and 30th of March at Dundee Ice Arena and was a great success....

Firstly we would like to thank Mr Ted Hunter for his dedication in bringing this event to Dundee. Ted has worked for over a year on making sure this event runs to the same high standards as our freinds who have hosted the event previously.. well done Ted a big THANK YOU for your hard work and commitment to the sport....

Also on the thank you list are Archie Marshall,Stuart Miller and the Ayrshire Flyers Club, who have also been working non stop making this event a success.well done and a big THANK YOU....

DUNDEE SPEED SKATING CLUB had a total of 12 skaters who qualified for this event the skaters results:

IAN CAVIN - Won gold in his masters event

SCOTT ANDERSON- came in overall 5th in his category

MURRAY COCHRANE- came overall 6th in his category and also achieved 2 P.Bs

GREG IRELAND-came overall 9th in his category and also achieved 2P.Bs

GREGOR CHRISTIE- came overall 12th in his category

CLAIRE PIRIE- came overall 7th in her category and also achieved a p.b

BEN MCFARLANE-came overall 4th in his category and also achieved a p.b

KRISTOFER INGLIS- came 11th in his category and also achieved 2 p.bs

ANDREW HENDERSON- came 13th in his category

FIONNLAGH MCGLASHAN- came 15th in his category

LAURA DEVINE- came 5th in her category and also achieved 3 p.bs

ELOISE McCLURE- came overall 9th in her category

WELL DONE TO ALL THE SKATERS..............

WELL DONE TO RELAY TEAM DUNDEE WHO MADE IT TO THE FINAL AND ARE NOW THE 5TH BEST RELAY TEAM IN BRITIAN........................
